We served Pie amd peas with a pint of english ale for £4.00, the night was a huge success, selling out of pies.
30th April 2009 - Brass Monkey Brewery Trip
A fantastic brewery trip, where good ale was enjoyed by all. Brass Monkey did a fantastic job, and you cant beat this trip for value, £10 for a trip, beer and food.
11th December 2008 - Peter Crosby Live
A fun packed evening hosted by local singer Peter Crosby, celebrating Katie's Birthday, a great evening enjoyed by all, looking forward to having Peter back at the Old Ship Inn.
5th July 2009 - Brass Band Day
This popular event attracts houndreds of people onto Bethel Street, to watch the brass band march. we are conveniently placed in the middle of the march. Snacks to take out will be available, and drinks will be served in plastic glasses so you can enjoy the entertainment on the street. Timings to be confirmed.
7th July 2009 - Brighouse Circuit Bike race.
We are proud to be the official beer headquaters for this event, the bar will be open late for the official after race party, all are welcome. The racing starts from 7pm, you get a great view of the race form outside our pub, when the racers come speeding down Bethel Street. For the first time, this fantasic local band, are playing at the Old Ship, guarented to be a fantastic afternoon, starts at 4pm
